Referral Cases
For nearly 40+ years, The Keenan Law Firm has worked extensively with lawyers throughout the United States who have referred cases to our practice. We vigorously protect all ethical referral fees without outside lawyers and have accepted referrals on a variety of basis.
The typical referred case is with our office working up the case and directing the flow of the litigation. In addition, we have been retained simply to try the case once the referral lawyer has completely prepared the case for trial. On a limited number of cases, we have joint ventured the trial with a referring lawyer with our firm handling the damages and the referral lawyer handling liability and causation.
Because of the wide variation and working relationships, the referral fee
is dictated by the specific relationship that is created.
