What is Child Product Liability?
Product liability has to do with a product that you have purchased and used which doesn’t work the way it was supposed to, causing harm as a result. Child product liability obviously has to do with products that are designed specifically for children that end up harming or sometimes even killing the child. In any given product liability case, there is a party who is at fault for the harm that is done.

When a child is hurt by a product, whether at home, outside the home, or at school, the area of law that addresses these cases is called “products liability”. People are hurt every day in injuries as a result of using everything from a common household item to highly complicated machinery on the job. In some cases, it can be appropriate to file product liability lawsuits.
How We Help
The Keenan Law Firm has been involved with hundreds of product liability lawsuits and wrongful death cases involving a number of products, including toys, bicycles, airbags, child seats and fastening devices, cribs and bedding, and even automatic garage doors. Recently, our Atlanta child product liability lawyers have pioneered the area of product liability lawsuits involving automobile air bag injuries. Injuries often occur because of their inadvertent requirement, improper use, and failure to deploy.
Most product injuries or death require working with highly credential experts. Over the years, the Keenan Law Firm has worked with former NASA space engineers, the developer of the lap safety belt, the individual who owns the patent on the lunar moon buggy, designers of hot air balloons, and former government safety department heads and officials in building product liability lawsuits for our clients.
Our Atlanta child product liability lawyers are going to do everything they can to put together a strong and successful claim so that justice is served. We will help you identify exactly who is responsible for the child’s harm and/or death and lay out how we are going to fight this injustice.
